1ST EVER Running session!
It's been a while, but I FINALLY got some trains moving!

The weather has been lovely, so I grabbed the opportunity to finish off some small jobs in the shed, then I set up some track and had the FIRST live running session of my trains!
I was once again joined by Nathan in the shed, and he was very happy to see the trains going back and forth! (Sadly, not a full loop yet, but it will happen!)
Using the Hornby "Devon Flyer" OO gauge starter set which I have owned for many years plus additional track, I set up and connected track to the Rocky Bridge Section and got some trains running!
I only have 2 running trains available at the moment - the Hornby "Blue Diamond" small steam engine and my Class 58 Diesel locomotive.
I used these to pull around my rake of Yellow Shell wagons and a small coach I was recently donated.
In the video, I also discuss how I cut some track with a rotary tool (the Draper StormForce) as well as provided some helpful safety tips if you plan on doing this yourself.
(This tool is available here: https://www.toolstation.com/draper-135w-rotary-multi-tool-kit/p56097)
I will be posting regular updates on the progress to my OO gauge model railway layout, as well as posting various other videos featuring hints, tips, tricks and techniques, tutorials, reviews and more, so please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel!
Any and all feedback is welcome, however please keep any comments constructive!
