Track plans and other BIG updates!
Not much has changed on the layout from last week... However BIG changes have happened away from it!
Progress on the layout has been minimal this week. Several reasons, including that the work I HAVE done is pretty much stuff that I have re-done in previous videos, which I don't feel my viewers will need to see again.
In addition, I have
spent a fair chunk of my free time this week focusing on
sorting out the various social media platforms to spread the word about the layout!

I HAVE however managed to get started on the shunting yard, which will be leading on to the industrial area...
I have used some older track I had bought a while back as a job lot. Much of it is steel, and not in the best of conditions, however I am using it to work out how I want to set up the layout.
Once I have everything in place, my plan is to eventually replace it with new track and points and have everything running nice and smoothly!
As I mentioned in the video, I will be producing and sharing more IN DEPTH articles on aspects of my model rail layout that I feel would be beneficial to others!
So far, I have more information on the scratch built warehouse I built, as well as more information on the rocky bridge section I created.
